It has been mentioned that there aren't many options for adjusting how the forums appear on your screen. The biggest shortcoming of the current options is that there are no high-contrast options (bright text over a dark background). High-contrast is extremely useful for visibility in places with high ambient light (outdoors during daytime on a cellphone or laptop etc). Notable users of high-contrast is public safety mobile computers and portable amateur radio ops (see the OH8STN web page for excellent info on adjusting Windows for high contrast).

Anyhow long story short is I've added more appearance options. Click on "User Control Panel" then select "Board Preferences" and select a new Board Style. There is one called 0mega that works particularly well.

Surely Tim is reading this thinking "Why wasn't this done like 20 some-odd years ago ?"
