How may hours are you trying to get from one recharge? I can run my 246 for about 24 hours on the batteries that came with the scanner without needing a recharge. |

Get the biggest you can get. I think that Costco has four 2300mAh NickelMetalHydrides and charger. I find that my 396 lasts longer with rechargable than alkalines. -m |
