Sure, lots of stuff that goes on out there.
- Heard F-15s chasing a Cessna over the Peninsula, arming and locking their sidewinders, and having to rotate aircraft because of speed disparities.
- Heard the Pierce County chase of a suspected bank robber, and the anxiety in the voices of the chasers, asking permission to take the guy out. They, based on his driving tactics, were positive that the bad guy was a cop, and didn't like it.
- Heard the mounting calls of active fires and power line calls in Spokane last summer as a supercell thunderstorm struck, and the frustration as the tasks mounted faster than people could get them done.
- The tanker fire on I-5 was an interesting listen. Took nearly all of District 1 and 7's apparatus, and they waited almost an hour to call out a crash truck from Paine Field to extinguish. Of course, the hour that passed had jammed the roads in the area, further delaying the response.
- Naked people calls are always good for a laugh.
- Everyone wants in on the car chase
