Assuming they are attempting to standardize on APCO codes: Quote: 10-100 Civil disturbance - Mutual aid standby. oh yeah... "3 Adam 1 I'm 10-100 at 5th and Main." Brilliant. This is a good example of why someone with actual 10-code experience should be making the list. Can't wait to see what happens when they make it all the way up to 10-200. |

At my work, there is one outfit we dispatch for that uses 10 codes like air... George 2, I have a 10-16 at 83 Frank that is priority 1 to 85 Sam Paul.....Copy....I'm 10-19...will 10-21 you when 10-97.... |

I'm 10-8 from 10-19 to the 10-50 near the 10-55 location (need a 10-79 for that), but I'm going to be on a 10-21 until I'm 10-97, 10-4? |

I've just completed the Blue Card Course, . . . and whew!, . . . that's a lot of air time. Me thinks I'll need a new "continious duty" antenna soon. |

10 codes were killed for mutual aid reasons.. Now feds want to introduce their own 10-codes, and mandate their use. eff em. In the DC area, 10-100 (and signal 100) were code for 'mental patient', heh. and of course, they were always shortened... 'I need a 28 and 29 on Maryland Adam Boy Charles, one, two, three...' Good parody, though... :D |
