someone told me: King Co Trunk is getting new "frequencies" this Saturday starting at 3am and complete roll out by early afternoon. anyone know if this is going to be as quieting as SnoCom last month? or just moving control channels with little effect to the amateur scanner? |

This was stated in another topic: dwight wrote: From the WWRIC meeting- SERS rebanding: Jay Morrison reported that Snohomish County has completed their rebanding except for three channels that they are waiting for King County to vacate. They haven’t yet determined the extent of interference on the new channels, if any. I'm guessing that the new "frequencies" will be voice channels so SERS East TRS can complete their rebanding. |

There are going to a number of shuffles, retunes and changes over the next few months for rebanding for numerous agencies. |

The cutover of the Seattle Simulcast subsystem that was planned for this weekend has been postponed until early December. The back up site was retuned and tested on Tuesday. |
