Looking for suggestions for an inexpensive 150Mhz tuned mobile antenna with BNC connection.

Searching for something better to use with my PDW setup.

Thanks...

5540 divided by 150 divided by 2 is the size of your 1/4 wave whip. 18.46 inches

Yep!

If you have groundplane issues a Laird (or equivalent) 1442N is a good choice. I use em on my slicktops on the side fender to help hide em due to them being a tad shorter than a 5/8 gain 1443. They work very well with or without groundplane...
