Strange, my handheld updated fine but I can't get my 163 to update... keeps saying no response from the scanner... |

Did you try the other update? There are two, based on the loader version that you have. I downloaded the wrong one at first, and I was continually getting the same error... There is boot version 1.00 and 1.01... Here is a link to the ACTUAL upgrade notes... The ones posted at 1.08 are actually the 1.06... http://www.radioshack.com/graphics/uc/r ... are108.pdf |

Yup, I have the 1.00 loader, and I tried both packages, powered off/on, tried no power for 30 seconds... etc. but no joy. Happily I've noticed no problems with the scanner... |
