You heard of the saying "There's a sucker born every minute." ??? IT's TRUE. A nationwide Apartment Management Company - Archstone-Smith Operationg Trust, has applied to use 462.4375 - low power - 1 watt -- IN DIGITAL no less - as an APARTMENT - INTERCOM channel from all of its rental units - nationwide. They own 7 apartment groups in Snohomish and eastside King County -- with almost 3,000 apartments -- each with its own transmitter. If you live in Washington County, Oregon - you have almost 1,000 apartment units. To heck with listening to the old "baby monitor" units. |
