Can you believe this? I sold one of these for 20.00 a few months ago. I just thought this was funny. Boy, this guy has got some stones to ask that price, lol :bsflag:

I can beat that. Just saw a "2005 Police Call book" listed for $ 198.00 -- THAT's $ 198.00 for a book that listed for under 20 bucks.

I still have a mint copy of "McKennas 1981-82 Police and Fire Radio Callbook for the Pacific Northwest" with free update service. As well as many copies before that one.
I am sure they would go for a good price on Ebay but are not for sale.

Is that free update service still good Mike? :D

Where is Seahurst, WA?

About $20 is the going price for something like that, and most times the buyer will haggle you down to $15.

The GRE 800 MHZ. converter might be worth something.

I give you guys enough "updates" on this site as it is. LOL LOL --Thanks for the good words -- but no such update service -- at this time. I only have a few of copies of my own book. I might have to offer big bucks -- just to get a copy or edition that I don't have. I was a friend of Gene Hughs (Costin) and I would always pick up a copy of his great book. The hobby will miss him. Dame great guy. I never could get him to buy that radio station near Palm Springs -- that he wanted. He always wanted to be in radio -- and he was. I would really like to buy a 1973 or 1974 "Police Call" -- Vol 8 + 9. Anyone have a spare 1982 McKenna's -- let me know. Seahurst is near Burien. MTM
