For those who haven't already noticed, there is now a "Wiki" option on the menu.

The articles that were on the old main page (Trunk Radio System Monitoring, etc) are now in the Wiki. I still need to finish reformatting them but they are almost there.

Send me a PM/email if you would like edit access to the Wiki, that way you can write your own articles if you want.

To see whats already up there just click on Wiki then click "Random Article" a few times.

i dont know that I like all this change. are you suggesting that this site will no longer be ran by notepad.exe?

The site is intentionally designed for lightweight data transport. Its better to have pages which load quickly with useful data as compared to other sites which load excessive background graphics, advertisements, stupid digg.com/addthis.com links, and little data of actual use. Our design is especially appreciated when accessing the site from handheld devices.

Site editing is done via a custom application which supports retrieved content and various levels of dynamic embedded data within the content. There are no flat files to edit. Besides, I use vi, not notepad.
