Not much info on this incident posted, but for those who have never seen, http://www.planecrashinfo.com/ is a pretty fascinating site.

Look for the link on the left that offers transcripts, and in some cases actual recordings, of last words.

"Oh shit" is a commonly heard phrase...

I once worked with (and then for) a fellow who turned out to be VERY afraid of flying (burned through 3 tickets in one week, couldn't get on the plane). Upon discovering this, another (soon to depart) co-worker passed this URL around the office. His fears became much harder to manage after that.

I didn't feel so bad for him after I learned how much of a horses-ass he really was...
