Comcast broadcasts many channels in HD right now.. Are you referring to the switch to all HD thats mandatory per FCC next year? |

Comcast, now running 2 1/2 times ahead of the competition as the worst company in America. http://consumerist.com/361593/worst-com ... ontrunners Paying stooges to sit in on FCC Net Neutrality hearings probably didn't help their appeal to the masses either. |

That coax is like it's own radio spectrum. The "Digital Switch" in '09 has no effect on people with cable or satellite; just those with rabbit ears. For example, 469.25 is channel 65, but if you turn your scanner on and dial into that frequency, you'll hear nothing but silence, er, static. |

Here in the Gig harbor area I counted 28 HD channels for comcast. Comcast is adding more HD channels: Discovery channel HD, Animal Planet HD, Food Network HD, Sci Fi HD, TLC HD. HGTV HD on March 4th. I think comcast HD is great! :D |
