Just wanted to chime in on this. Its a shame to see the good "mom and Pop" shops go away. Having lived in the east bayarea, This was my "goto" shop for all scanner needs. Glenn was a teriffic guy! Always there to help with programming, freq questions etc. If you purchased a scanner from him he would go out of his way to make sure you knew how to run it.You would get personal one on one time with him about the operation of the scanner. It was a real fun shop. He had a nice collection of all the old radios on display. Glenn will be missed in the scanning community. R.I.P. Scanners Unlimited. :( |

Sorry to hear Glenn is closing the store. He has been a leader the scanning community for a long time and I have enjoyed doing business with him over the last 30 years. He will be missed and so will Scanners Unlimited. Best of luck to Glenn in the future. |
