I'm trying to program in 159.2325 and its coming up as 159.2300 I know i can change the step size but how do i change it to make it accept this freq? Its not seeming to work, probably me just doing it wrong though. Would appreciate a little walk thru. Thank you.. |

The frequency you are trying to enter is a 6.25 KHz step frequency. The BC9000 only does 5, 12.5, 25 and 50 KHz steps, so you won't be able to enter that exact frequency. To change the step sizes on the 9000, you need to change the mode of the big tuning knob on the from from "Channel" to "Frequency". You can change the step sizes that the knob tunes in by hitting the "Shift" key (it says STATUS in white letters and SHIFT in gold), then picking the step size on the number keys. You will notice some step sizes in gold letters above each key. Good luck! - Chris |

ahhhh, ok. Hey thanks for that. Guess I will have to leave that Freq out of my DNR list. Shoot. |

No need to leave it out. Even if you program in 159.2300, you will probably still hear what's on 159.2325 just fine. - Chris |
