It does seem odd that you would post this for all to see. Just incase you are thinking about it...please don't post any bathroom related fantasies.

Well I was also hoping for some feedback on Nextel service too I suppose. Seeing as there are isn't any 'general' forum rebuilt yet.

You might want to look at Nextels coverage area before you buy.
There's nothing cool about your phone not working.
Sprint and Verizon also have push to talk service now.
Gsm cariers will offer it soon.

Post subject:  Long Time Nextel User

I have used Nextel for many years and like all of the other carriers they have some problems with coverage and customer service, no major complaints.

I also manage the Nextel account for my company (>70 units in Washington & Oregon), we have several that are direct connect only for our field units that do not require nor need the telephone feature. The group call is also a great feature, we have several groups set up that make getting messages to all when required a very simple task.

We tried the Verizon units recently, we were set up yo try them for a month but gave up after two weeks, the quality just wasn't equal to Nextel.

Hope this helps.
