What is the frequencies, that the pilot car uses to talk to the truck carrying the oversize loads?
I saw one today and it looked like it was a 80 meter antenna on the pilot car

It looks like an antenna but it's actually a large reference stick, to measure the distance between the road surface and the clearance of the overpass, assuming they can yell loud enough on childrens band for the truck behind to stop in time...

I think they use cbs

They use CB's. Sometimes on an "off" channel, but other times they run 17 or 19 so their chatter gives other trucks a heads up on the oversize load.
