I'm a real newbie to radios and am trying to understand some of the terminology. I have seen the inside of some programming software and wonder what all the terms are. ie; talkaround,PL codes, I'd like to use an old vhf 2way handheld as a marine handheld. Being able to tx and rx the marine channels as well as scan WSP and local channels on one radio. Are there any good ref manuals on that sort of thing? |
