If anyone is driving north from Olympia there may be some delays Saturday morning

I-5 - Paving operations on I-5 northbound from Marvin Rd. to MP 114.00 before Mcallister Creek starting 9:00 PM, 10/10/08 until 11:04 AM, 10/11/08
From milepost 112 to milepost 115

Beginning at 9 p.m. on Friday, October 10, crews will reduce I-5 to one lane near Nisqually for concrete panel replacement. The on-ramp from Nisqually to northbound I-5 will also be closed. The roadway is expected to reopen by 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 11. Motorists can expect delays and should plan their trips accordingly.

Though the Poodle Dog itself does not have Wifi capability, one of our members may be able to provide some connectivity in the room. Not a promise, but it may happen.

I'll have a wireless router. I may or may not be able to get it connected to another one to provide 'net connectivity, but regardless everyone will be able to connect to it and therefore each other.

Any recommendations for a low-level 2m or 70cm repeater in the Fife area - one that will provide low-power coverage from a handheld in side the Poodle Dog restaurant?

FWARC is on 146.76 (PL 103.5) that should work fine from Fife.

It looks like my plans for this weekend have changed, so I'll be driving up from the Salem area. Sorry for the late notice.

Does anyone need any Kenwood, or Motorola radios programmed? (No trunking)

WHAT A GREAT TIME!!!!!

I want to thank Taco, T68 Wil, (& anyone I missed) for putting this together.

I met with folks I haven't seen in 15+ years, and learned more about radio.

Thanks again to the organizers and all who showed up!

73,
Nick

I'm sure the moderator is going to think he's getting spammed all of the sudden :D
