Ok - I have 18 people confirmed so far.

I guess I'll tell them about 20 to 25 attendees - as some will likely not show, and others will appear without warning.

Sounds like Bistromathics.

Is there any specific agenda on the table? Do we need to bring anything - laptops, radios, etc?

I'll have a "final update" later today. The Poodle Dog had a change of management recently, and some of their terms have changed. I'm trying to get that reversed.

I would advise to bring your laptop and radios. Also, an informal agenda is being worked out - however, if there's something specific the "group" wants covered, you should let us know now.

This "General Membership Meeting" was originally thought to be real informal - however, we don't want it to be boring or uneventful, either.

File sharing (NOT MP3's), radio programming, showing off newer scanners and other equipment that some of us don't have yet (or may not want to get based on your experiences), discussing regional radio issues and changes, and casual networking amongst members is really the goal.

So, yes - bring your stuff, and we'll see how it works into the event. It's still pretty much un-scripted, and that's on purpose.

I carry a firearm openly, which is legal in WA. Just to give everyone a heads up when you see a guy with a Glock strapped on walk in...

Sounds good Brad. I'll bring my main scanner gear (laptop and BC396T.) If anyone has the new PSR-500, please bring it with you. I'd love to take a look at this radio and see what the fuss is all about. ;o)
