I am Against it as Well. but The People Have asked The lawmakers a Long Time ago to setup Guidelines and laws Governing The airwaves. I Haven't Written or E-Mailed The FCC in Quit a Long Time but I Feel I Should. The Thing That Bugs me is That There is a Certian Element out There undermining our Youth Today That Tv has a lot to do With The Crime Committed Today. Dose anyone Eles out There Think Thats Possieble, :?:

Brian, Please DO write the FC. But first WE all should understand that the FCC, like most government agencies has TWO sides or Functions. First to enforce laws or rules. SECOND - and most important to accept REQUESTS from the PUBLIC to change rules or regulations, laws or procedures. Who asked for a LOW POWER radio service to be known as "Family radio Service" ?????? It was NOT John Q Public, but RADIO SHACK !!!! Who requested that the FCC provide HDTV ???? It was SONY -- a TV maker that was going BROKE because no one was buying more TVs. --- Now you see the OTHER SIDE of the coin. YES, write letters and yell FIRE in a crowded movie house if you must. Its the only way things will change. TV is a vast wasteland. So is AM radio and very soon the FM dial. If you want to hear free speach, tell the FCC. Make them provide room for some idiot like Howard Stern. If you don't care - or write the FCC - you get what you wanted - nothing. TV channel 6 (82-88 Mhz) could provide 30 NEW FM radio channels. TRUE Public Radio service could be enjoyed by all. But SOMEONE must request that TV channel 6 become part of the FM band. WHO WILL WRITE the FCC ????

channel 6 would put a hurtin on some things if we switched it. Why you wanna mess with my JOB!? :roll:

I thought it was Ch 2 That they Wanted to do Away With :o
