If you have access to LA area TV channels -- via Cable or Satelite -- good coverage of Fire in San Fernando Valley area. Lotts of radio traffic. KTLA, KTTV-KCOP-FOX, KCAL-KCBS-CBS, all good video. Fire moving accross 210 freeway into the San Fernando city - LA City. Hot wires down over freeway. 50 unit mobile home park gone and propane company and bus barn are in the path.

ahhh but seeing it firsthand is so much more fun ! I was up in Little Tujunga Canyon with the trailer to evacuate some horses (including mine!). Had to drive through the command post and some roadblocks to get there. Quite the number of FD/LE vehicles and personnel there.
